I thought I knew a lot about hotels until I read the book ‘Hotels Near The Q’ by Marco Ricca.
It’s one of those books that just makes you think, and wonder what it would be like to live in such an environment.
I was so engrossed in this story that when I started reading about the hotel owner, Lidia Bolivar, who is on her deathbed as she tells her life story to a priest – not for confession but because she wants him to know how much good she has done with her life – my heart actually ached with sadness for this woman who had sacrificed everything for others.
